Take this as you will...

But it's not what you think.

Coward.

[/cryptic whining]

On a totally different note, today (Wednesday) is make your own damn dinner day. And breakfast and lunch. I'm staying out of the kitchen for an entire day just to prove that I can. Hey, I gave up coffee for a whole day once, how hard can giving up cooking be?

Also, any female without a gown for Saturday--well, first forshame! and second, I'm going shopping tomorrow. You're welcome to come along. I suppose any male without a gown is welcome to come as well, I just don't expect to get any takers. Pity.

[identity profile] x-dazzler.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 05:14 am (UTC)(link)
Shopping. Need you even ask?

[identity profile] x-havok.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 09:15 am (UTC)(link)
....

Nope not gonna take the bait.

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 04:54 pm (UTC)(link)
It's not bait and it's not you. Hence the subject line.

Unless you were wanting to go dress shopping.

[identity profile] x-foliate.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 09:20 am (UTC)(link)
Coward! Who you calling a coward?

That's it, missy. I challenge thee to a duel. No, wait. I don't. I challenge you to dig yourself out of the Disney Land papers I'm dumping on you. haHAH!

And you thought I forgot.

[identity profile] x-dazzler.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 09:45 am (UTC)(link)
Careful. You challenge her, she may pick shopping as the contest. ;)

[identity profile] x-dazzler.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 10:50 am (UTC)(link)
Whaaaat?

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 04:53 pm (UTC)(link)
ack, death by papercut! A most ignoble end!

Damn girl, you really do color code everything. And it's cross-referenced.

[identity profile] x-foliate.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 06:09 pm (UTC)(link)
I admit it freely. I'm a little bit of a loser.

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 06:11 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm in awe. I don't suppose I could convince you to organize my recipe collection?

[identity profile] x-blink.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 11:09 am (UTC)(link)
shopping. yes. and take Shiro b/c he needs a tux.

I found a dress online...now to see if it fits... :) love the Lorna!

[identity profile] x-sanfuaiyaa.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 01:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Actually, Mr. Beaubier is helping me out with that. I don't need Lorna's help.

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 04:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Couldn't help any way as we are very much dress shopping and not tux shopping. Though you'd have been welcome to dress shop with us.

[identity profile] x-blink.livejournal.com 2004-09-23 09:01 am (UTC)(link)
oh good!

I'm still shopping then :)

[identity profile] x-tarot.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 06:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Lorna, if my boyfriend does not remove himself from his laptop long enough to get a new vest, and possibly spend some time with me that is not driving to his class that is making him spend so much time on his computer, you will have a boy to put in a gown.

I have all his measurements, and I can assure you, Doug looks -very- good in blue.

Re: ...

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 06:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Angie, you are my favoritest person ever.

Re: ...

[identity profile] x-cypher.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 07:09 pm (UTC)(link)
You can just stop that train of thought right there, Lorna. I will get myself a new vest, with you if you don't mind a little testosterone in your shopping trip, or alternately I can talk to Monsieur Beaubier about it, I guess.

There will be no gowns of any sort for this boy. So take that gleam in your eye elsewhere, Miss Dane. :)

Re: ...

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 07:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah but this gleam in my eye is so familiar a gleam!

You may come along but don't think that you get catered to just because you're a boy. You're on your own in vest finding. We're all about the pretty dresses.

Re: ...

[identity profile] x-cypher.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 07:20 pm (UTC)(link)
I am not all about the pretty dresses. Unless they're on my roommate, because that was fun.

I'm a big boy, Lorna, I think I can manage to find my own way in the big bad shopping mall, and probably not even get beaten up this time.

Re: ...

[identity profile] x-tarot.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 07:24 pm (UTC)(link)
... Doug, if the mall worries you again, you do not have to go. I was only teasing.

What is -wrong-?

Re: ...

[identity profile] x-cypher.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Nothing's wrong, besides how long this frelling project is taking.

Re: ...

[identity profile] x-tarot.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 07:39 pm (UTC)(link)
There you go saying that word again. Frell. That is the one from the show with the bald blue people!

Re: ...

[identity profile] x-cypher.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 07:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, love. It's called Farscape. And 'frell' and other such words were David Kemper's way of sneaking swearing past the censors.

Re: ...

[identity profile] x-tarot.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 08:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh. I am still a little confused.

Re: ...

[identity profile] x-tarot.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
~/o I know you, I walked with you, once upon a dream. ~/o

That is a Disney song! I know that song. We learned it in my first year of English class at home.

Re: ...

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 07:34 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm going to have it stuck in my head forever. He said gleam! Its a trigger word. *hums*

Re: ...

[identity profile] x-tarot.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 07:39 pm (UTC)(link)
I think there is a DVD of The Lion King downstairs. You could listen to Hakuna Matata.

Re: ...

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 07:47 pm (UTC)(link)
But then I'd have to kill myself and I don't think I'd enjoy that. Sleeping Beauty is much preferable.

Re: ...

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 07:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, yes, it's a wonderful phrase. No passing craze.

But Sleeping Beauty is Tschaikovsky and that trumps singing animals anyday.

Re: ...

[identity profile] x-tarot.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 08:03 pm (UTC)(link)
It means -no- worries. For the rest of our days.

I think I like Fantasia best. The orignal one, not the new one. Now that is a wonderful animation.

Re: ...

[identity profile] x-tarot.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 07:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh drat. You are actually reading the journals.

Re: ...

[identity profile] x-cypher.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 07:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, I'm reading the journals, love.

Re: ...

[identity profile] x-tarot.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 07:38 pm (UTC)(link)
I thought that if the computer had turned you into a half-man half-computer that maybe you would forget to read the journals.

Re: ...

[identity profile] x-cypher.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 07:51 pm (UTC)(link)
If I was a half-man half-computer, then I could read the journals even easier.

Re: ...

[identity profile] x-tarot.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 08:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe if you were a half-man half-computer you would not want to read about our silly journals.

As the half-man half-machine person here...

[identity profile] x-jetstream.livejournal.com 2004-09-24 08:16 am (UTC)(link)
Occasionally the journals are a wonderful source of silliness.

Salaam,
Haroun

PS - Douglas? I have a television, and it works.

BOOYAH!

Re: ...

[identity profile] x-tarot.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 07:15 pm (UTC)(link)
I am?

I do have to give him some time to respond. But if he does not, I am going to hide that tuxedo of his and make him wear a ballgown.

No dress required...

[identity profile] x-madelyn.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 08:03 pm (UTC)(link)
...but shoes and accessories are. The shoes I was intending to wear with my dress turn out to be rather the worse for wear (which shouldn't be surprising, considering the last time I wore them was a FBI Christmas party and _someone_ who shall remain nameless managed to throw up in their vicinity. I thought the dry cleanign would have worked, but alas, no - they're all stiff and uncomfortable now...). So, new shoes are needed. And possibly jewellery of some description...

Re: No dress required...

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 08:05 pm (UTC)(link)
All part of the service. What's the dress look like and what size shoe do you wear?

Re: No dress required...

[identity profile] x-madelyn.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 08:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Black with some slink. *grins* When's this expedition? I"ll bring the dress and myself along, I just need your expert eye and advice.

Re: No dress required...

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 08:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Oooh, slink.

This excursion leaves after classes tomorrow.

Re: No dress required...

[identity profile] x-madelyn.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 08:27 pm (UTC)(link)
It fit. You shouldl have seen Shinobi's face when I came out of the change room.

I'll see you there. Contrary to popular opinion, I won't spontaneously combust if I leave school grounds...

[identity profile] x-kitten.livejournal.com 2004-09-23 05:01 am (UTC)(link)
I know what I want, now I just need to get my hands on it, in my size, with shoes. Count me in. And, Jamie already volunteered for carying stuff and telling me I look pretty duty, but I think I promised not to let you put him in a dress.

At any rate, count me in.
