Snowball fights. And snowmen. And running around the yard like an idiot with your tongue out trying to catch snowflakes. And coming back inside to have hot chocolate with marshmallows because you've never had real hot chocolate with marshmallows until you've had it after you've been running around in the snow for hours.

You are going to learn to have fun with winter. I'm putting that on my list.

I do have fun with winter. I go shopping and see plays and have parties. I watch "It's a Wonderful Life" and make those little Christmas cookies. I switch to UV Tanning salons instead of visiting the beach.

Fun is had and all without FREEZING.

I didn't always live in Hawaii. I remember we lived somewhere when I was really little that snowed every winter. If I can find Scott, I'll ask him. where it was...
