Well, that was slightly less destructive than the average catfight during high school. But then, I went to an all girls school, so I think we were a bit different that most.
It's getting very cold around here. Have I mentioned that I find that unnatural? It's terribly rude of this state, insisting on having seasons and all that. How do you people stand it?
I've been thinking about Thanksgiving. I'm still undecided on whether I should go home for the holiday or stay here and force feed all of you my candied yams and stuffed turkey. Going home means Dad but it also means I don't have to cook. Very difficult decisions.

Date: 2003-11-14 05:34 am (UTC)It's not that I don't enjoy cooking. It's just that Thanksgiving is such a huge ordeal, menu-wise. It requires a week of preparation and even then I'll be in the kitchen all day.
As a rule, chefs hate holidays. We always have to work.
However, it won't be so bad if...wait, wait. I'm having an idea. A wonderful idea. A terrible, wonderful idea.
Rahne, darling, what can I bake you? You've just given a glorious idea and you deserve a reward!

Date: 2003-11-14 05:46 am (UTC)Since it seems you'll be very busy for a while, though, could I ask you to teach me some things (when you've got time, I mean) instead? I'd like to learn more, but couldn't schedule for the cooking class.
