Well, that was slightly less destructive than the average catfight during high school. But then, I went to an all girls school, so I think we were a bit different that most.

It's getting very cold around here. Have I mentioned that I find that unnatural? It's terribly rude of this state, insisting on having seasons and all that. How do you people stand it?

I've been thinking about Thanksgiving. I'm still undecided on whether I should go home for the holiday or stay here and force feed all of you my candied yams and stuffed turkey. Going home means Dad but it also means I don't have to cook. Very difficult decisions.

Marie-Ange is pretty much correct. It's a harvest festival remembering the pioneers and their struggles to survive the upcoming winter. Rituals varry from family to family, but pretty much everywhere meat is eaten we have turkey, plus other traditional foods (stuffing, cranberry sauce, cornbread, pumpkin pie, etc.)

I'm going to be claiming the rec-room tv with 'Yana and Artie to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade all morning, if either of you want to join us.

I think I've heard about that parade. It's the really big one with lots of balloons, right?

Yep, that's the one. I keep wanting to go in person, but haven't had the chance.

I thought it was in New York City. Why can't we just up and go?

It is, and we could. I just... I don't know. This year hasn't really seemed like the year to go.
