xp_olaris: (If the shoe fits)

We are sexy sexy beasts!

My roomie, the big guy and I are the hottest things to hit this place since, well, ever. Just ask the guy who walked into the pole while he was staring at Ali. (That's what I started laughing about, Ali. Sorry I couldn't tell you at the time...was sort of choking on my gum.)

Oh shopping, how do I love thee, let me count the ways.

One for Nordstroms and its seven stories.
Two for Aldo and shoes that make one weep.
Three for Victoria's Secret wherein dreams are made and hearts are broken. God bless undergarments that defy the laws of nature. *thinks fondly of the pink and white bags currently littering her bed*

I have swiped the numbers off my credit cards today. I cannot overstate how amazingly helpful Piotr was on this trip. A big strong man is a must from now on for any serious shopping trips. I may even have to add it to my Christmas list.

I so needed this. Both the new wardrobe and the day with friends. Thanks you two!

You're kidding me, right? He figured out a perfect excuse to hang around Victoria's Secret for a sustained length of time. Nobody looks funny at someone who's obviously just there to carry the bags.

I'm starting to think he's a secret genius, myself.

The underwear story was pretty.

I really, really hope you meant store.

[identity profile] x-cannonball.livejournal.com 2003-05-23 07:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Hahaha...;)

Why would anyone want to

oh

[identity profile] x-cannonball.livejournal.com 2003-05-23 07:38 pm (UTC)(link)
...hah!

My thoughts exa-

oh. No! Gah!

*envisions multiple bag carriers*

You can come along any time you like, dear boy. However, only one of you gets ice cream.

[identity profile] x-crowdofone.livejournal.com 2003-05-23 08:58 pm (UTC)(link)
That's fine. Feeding the dupes doesn't do anything anyway, far's I've ever been able to tell. The food goes wherever the clothes go.

Re:

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2003-05-23 09:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmmm, does that mean if your dupe takes off his shoes and then you reabsorb him, you reabsorb the shoes too?

Re:

[identity profile] x-crowdofone.livejournal.com 2003-05-23 09:07 pm (UTC)(link)
I tried that. :) Thought I could get spare shoes for free. They didn't reabsorb, but they kind of . . . fell apart. Couple minutes after I reabsorbed the dupe, there wasn't anything recognizably shoelike left. Too bad, too, I'd never have to go clothes shopping again.

Bummer...that would have been useful for my nefarious purposes.

Hey, Jamie, you're a farmboy, right?

Central Kansas, cows and bees, yup.

. . . Why?

Re:

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2003-05-23 09:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, no reason. just something Ali and I were discussing...

[identity profile] x-cannonball.livejournal.com 2003-05-23 07:37 pm (UTC)(link)
...ick.

Either I do not see the hidden appeal of lacy things half the size of my hand that cost twice what a real nice shirt would cost me, or you are all crazy.

*raises an eyebrow speculatively*...are we sure this one's a het? Because if not, I've got this friend back home with a thing for farm boys...

Re:

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2003-05-23 08:06 pm (UTC)(link)
He's a great guy, really. I met him during a debate tournament in high school. He crushed my best friend's argument on stem cell research then bought us pizza. They bonded over ex-boyfriends with big trucks.

Want me to give you his number?

Re:

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2003-05-23 08:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmm, not girls, not boys...I know several people who own horses and while I'm not usually one to encourage that kind of kink...

[identity profile] x-cannonball.livejournal.com 2003-05-23 08:52 pm (UTC)(link)
I DO NOT WANT TO KNOW!!!11

Re:

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2003-05-23 08:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmm, okay, not horses either I see. Well, give me a minute. I'll think of something.

Do you have any siblings?

[identity profile] x-cannonball.livejournal.com 2003-05-23 09:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Yup. A bucketload. I'm the oldest of...

OHMYDEARSWEETJESUS!

?!?!

Re:

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2003-05-23 09:07 pm (UTC)(link)
*is startled* What? I was just going to ask if any of them were mutants too? Making small talk while I was thinking...

Where was /your/ mind?

[identity profile] x-crowdofone.livejournal.com 2003-05-23 07:54 pm (UTC)(link)
It's not the lacy things, man, it's the cute girls in the store. Including, if you're lucky, the ones whose bags you're carrying.

Re:

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2003-05-23 07:57 pm (UTC)(link)
I have to disagree with you here, hon. It is also very much the lacy things...and the mental images they provide.

Re:

[identity profile] x-crowdofone.livejournal.com 2003-05-23 08:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, yeah, but the point is the cute girls. And I'm going to shut up before I get myself in trouble.

[identity profile] x-cannonball.livejournal.com 2003-05-23 08:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah...I see!
