Let me explain something

I'm leaving in three days. Not four days, not two days, not a week or a month or a year. Three days. Thursday morning I step onto a plane and head home.

And yes, I will miss you. I love you all. This isn't an easy parting by all means but it is one that is happening.

Which means that no matter what you do, how many of my things you glue down or spirit away, I am leaving.

So if you would be so kind as to return my LUGGAGE, I won't have to completely ruin all of the fond memories by having a complete meltdown in the middle of the school day.

[PS I have all sorts of gowns and things that are going to be useless in Berkeley. If anyone wants to have a rummage through my closet, let me know.]

She's a little too big to fit in my purse these days but it was fun while it lasted. She's got her very own carrier now and gets to ride in the cabin with me in a couple days. Lili's actually very good about travel, probably because she'd done a lot of it.
