Timing is everything. For example, 24 hours began at 7:00 am and thus ended at the same time the next day. This is very important to remember.

My alarm clock is set to go off at 6:50 am. This is also important to remember.

It takes roughly seven minutes to brew the first pot of coffee of the day and another 2 or 3 to actually pour it and add all necessary cream and sugar. Add another minute or so for the coffee to cool enough to drink it without burning oneself and the time should be about 7:02 am, sufficiently after the 24 hour mark. This is a delicately timed operation and should not be rushed.

My clock is set ten minutes fast. I forgot that little detail.

Drat.

Yes, yes. Very minor. Practically unmentionable time difference. Was very close to twenty four hours. I may have even woken up a bit late early yesterday to compensate.
