Online shopping, sadly, not proper shopping. I've been getting things to decorate my office and I just . Because I'm nice, I also got gifts for people, (well and they offer a discount if you buy in bulk) so if a mysterious package arrives on your bed it's possibly from me. Check first to see if it's ticking.

I just finished hanging mine up. Here's a sneak preview. For my office I got these:
Goals
Individuality
Worth
Limitations
Pressure
Burnout
Compromise
Regret

Now, I know it seems like 8 is a lot of posters but I want to be sure that people who come in leave with the proper attitude.

I also picked up a couple for the staff lounge to reflect the general atmosphere of our jobs.
Get To Work
Sacrifice

The locker rooms are so dreary that I figured they could use a little color, so here are some appropriate thoughts for us there.
Loyalty
Teamwork
More on teamwork

I have a few more up here too that I just couldn't resist getting. If you're dying to have one, let me know.

Well, yeah, okay.

It's a composition-thing. Really.

Oh ho, see how he backpeddles all the sudden.

I'm an artist. I was expressing my creativity in a free and healthy manner. It's theraputic.

It just also happened to involve monocles.

Yeah huh, sure. It's all about your Art.

Why don't you teach art, speaking of...?

Um, let's just say there's a reason my job involved great amounts of listening and not a lot of instruction. And also I don't actually work here anymore.

You be nice to my art or I'll recreate and disseminate those photos Alison showed me of that thing you did when you two lived together.

Slacker.

Whoa, whoa, back the trailer truck up here. There are no pictures of anything that I may or may not have...mostly not have...done. Alison has no proof of anything.

You're bluffing.

Hey, let's get this straight. I'm not a slacker, I'm a freeloader. The distinction is important.

Uh, I hate to break it to you, but there's proof.

Actually kind of a lot of proof.

Ask Jamie. I'm pretty sure he was in the CC.

With best friends like you three, who needs supervillians?

You're a slacker and a freeloader.

It's true. It is within my capacity to be multiple things at once.

And it's okay, it's not like it's a conspiracy. I mean we're not, say, exchanging emails talking about you and your weird catalogue-habits behind your back as we speak or anything.

For example.

Oh you three are so going to get it. So so much.

They're thousands of miles away, and even if the popular option of blunt-force trauma did manage to knock the images out of my head Alison's still got the digital files. And, apparently, the negatives.

I have my ways of dealing with the former Miss Blaire, never you worry about that.

Oooh, blunt force trauma is so in season right now too!

Uh huh.

I wonder if Cain would like some interesting attachments.

The Buddha teaches us not to be bound by the chains of material possessions.

So nice try.

Right. That's the computer you have your thesis on, isn't it?

Yes. Yes, it is indeed the physical host of the thesis which I have committed to my eidetic telepath's memory of surpassing creepiness due to the possibility of hardware failure.

. . . Let's just go get ice cream or something.
