Details

Just a couple housekeeping details: While it's fine for you all to use the kitchen to make stuff, please be aware that in many cases, ingredients are earmarked for use to feed the rest of the school too? If you use the last of something or something is getting low, please let someone know, preferably me or Dani. That way, I don't have to discover that I'm out of brown sugar and can't actually make dessert.

Speaking of which, no dessert tonight, kids. I'm out of brown sugar. And regular sugar. And corn syrup. ...did we get a new student with a high sugar requirement? Jubilee's gone so it's not her.

-------

I'm waiting for a package. If anyone sees it, I'd really appreciate having it brought to me right away. It's important.

-------

And in other news...great, Lobotomy Boy has finally lost it. Children, please ignore the cackling burning man outside. We're getting the butterfly net now and getting him down.

'Ro? I'll give you fifty bucks if you rain on his parade.

I can do a grocery-run. Are we out of anything else?

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2006-09-09 09:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Not that I know of though I'll be doing an inventory here in a minute. There's a list on my fridge upstairs of specialty things that I don't usually order bulk if you wouldn't mind.

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2006-09-09 09:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks, that'll be a big help.

[identity profile] x-mirage.livejournal.com 2006-09-10 12:33 am (UTC)(link)

I have a partial list of things we were almost out of and needed to be reordered. brown sugar is on it, but I won't be able to get it here until probably Weds. (I thought we had enough to wait and order on Monday).

let me know what you need and I'll include it on Monday.

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2006-09-10 12:47 am (UTC)(link)
Just a few of the specialty things that I usually go out for myself. David got them for me though so it's okay. I'll get you the results of my inventory in your box by Monday.

[identity profile] x-mirage.livejournal.com 2006-09-10 12:57 am (UTC)(link)

:) you saved me having to do it myself tomorrow, thank you. I try to avoid things like this.

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2006-09-10 12:59 am (UTC)(link)
No problem. I didn't have anything pressing to do today anyway.

[identity profile] x-storm.livejournal.com 2006-09-09 09:12 pm (UTC)(link)
But he looks so happy...

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2006-09-09 09:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Fifty whole dollars! Cash. You could get a new pair of shoes. Plus your garden would love the water.

[identity profile] x-traction.livejournal.com 2006-09-09 09:17 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd bet 50 he'd still be up there, flying around and happy even with rain!

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2006-09-09 09:19 pm (UTC)(link)
You're probably right. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't laugh really hard if he was dunked in the lake.

[identity profile] x-cable.livejournal.com 2006-09-11 12:00 am (UTC)(link)
You are a nasty woman. I should dunk you in the lake.

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2006-09-11 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
I'm terrified. Really.

[identity profile] x-storm.livejournal.com 2006-09-09 09:25 pm (UTC)(link)
When I went outside, the first thing he said was 'if you try, you're going in the drink'. Then he did another backflip.

I do not think I want those shoes enough to take a dip in the lake.

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2006-09-09 09:28 pm (UTC)(link)
He can manage backflips in that tank?

[identity profile] x-storm.livejournal.com 2006-09-09 09:29 pm (UTC)(link)
For an old man, he is surprisingly agile.

Now I know I am getting dunked in the lake.

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2006-09-09 09:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, he used to be. He's gonna be rusty and slow now. Betcha we could do that DR run that he mocked me over last time and I'd wipe the floor with him.

[identity profile] x-cable.livejournal.com 2006-09-11 12:09 am (UTC)(link)
I'd need to be off training for more than two months for you to catch up with me in that DR run, Dane.

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2006-09-11 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
That's what you think, Lobotomy Boy.

[identity profile] x-cable.livejournal.com 2006-09-11 12:03 am (UTC)(link)
When you least expect it, Munroe.

[identity profile] x-wolverine.livejournal.com 2006-09-10 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
You only have, what, thirty pairs of shoes or so?

You could let one go.

[identity profile] x-storm.livejournal.com 2006-09-10 04:58 am (UTC)(link)
Thirty minus the three you have had a hand in wrecking... I say I am getting dangerously low.

[identity profile] x-wolverine.livejournal.com 2006-09-10 04:59 am (UTC)(link)
*laughs* From my nose's point of view, it's three down, twenty-seven left to go.

[identity profile] x-storm.livejournal.com 2006-09-10 05:04 am (UTC)(link)
Variety is the spice of life, Logan. Which I assume you do not quite agree with, seeing as you only seem to own one hat.

[identity profile] x-wolverine.livejournal.com 2006-09-10 05:05 am (UTC)(link)
Only got one head, 'Ro. Can't wear more than one hat at a time.

[identity profile] x-storm.livejournal.com 2006-09-10 05:07 am (UTC)(link)
That may be, but you could always take that one off and try on another.

I think you would look particularly dashing in a beret, for instance.

[identity profile] x-wolverine.livejournal.com 2006-09-10 05:08 am (UTC)(link)
...

Don't own one. Next time I'm in the hat shop, I'll take a look at them.

No promises.

[identity profile] x-storm.livejournal.com 2006-09-10 05:33 am (UTC)(link)
If you get the beret, drinks are on me. As long as the beret stays on.

[identity profile] x-wolverine.livejournal.com 2006-09-10 05:35 am (UTC)(link)
Got a thirst for mojitos.

Bring your wallet. It's a powerful thirst.

[identity profile] x-skin.livejournal.com 2006-09-09 09:21 pm (UTC)(link)
...Burning? Getting him down?

Okay. I'll be outside, folks.

[identity profile] x-storm.livejournal.com 2006-09-09 09:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Just let him enjoy it, Angelo. Though you may want to explain to the younger students that this is a normal occurence and not to be alarmed. And to stay away from the lake.
xp_daytripper: (happy)

[personal profile] xp_daytripper 2006-09-10 04:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Normal for when he's got his powers, you mean.

Wait a minute... They're back? Brilliant!

[identity profile] x-cable.livejournal.com 2006-09-11 12:07 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, imagine that. One minute I was driving, and then I was pulling over to the side of the road and then there was a large flaming bird by the side of the road.
