What a weekend. I'm hideously behind on all my plans now. I have to cancel my facial too. Very much vexed.
Ugh. Need a manicure.

Ah, the sacrifices we make...
Stop by my office when you get a chance, Lorna. Something training-wise I want to talk to you about.

About how long will you need? I can give you about 10 minutes in 15 or an hour in three.

Fifteen minutes will do. I want to turn you loose on a problem and see what you come up with - it won't take long to give you the specifics.

Oh, no! Not the facial!
Facial
what,

It's a spa treatment. Girly stuff. Unfortunately it's totally not going to happen with my face looking like this.

But wouldn't getting your face not looking like whatever it looks like be the point of the facial? Girls are weird.

Have you seen my face today? ...wait, I actually know that answer to that. No because I've been running around like mad since we got home.
I got a bit scraped up. It would make the micro-derm a bit painful.

Oh, well, that'd do it then.
And just so you know, this has been a learning experience for me! I'm writing "Don't run into things with your face" into my X-Men trainee notes right now, in your honor.

I didn't run into anything with my face, smarty-pants. Stuff ran into me.

Do . . . not . . . block . . . with . . . face.
Got it! :)

I also recommend having a metal suit to prevent the same thing that cut up your face from the cutting up the rest of you.
Hmm, I guess that advice isn't practical if you aren't like me though.

Yeah, I only wear metal-lined clothes when I wanna screw with the guess-your-weight guys at the state fair. That's good fun.
