I think the docs should give me an updated list of people's off limits food, pleasethanks. It's hard keeping up all by my little self*. *looks pitiful*

Sugar makes my powers get an extra go gear...but I think that's supposed to be a good thing. Although, maybe not when I'm sparking holes in the funiture.

It is indeed a good thing. In moderate amounts it should increase your control, and I do believe you are the only person who, should you reach the exalted rank of Junior Teammember, is going to have a note from the Doctors Four advocating the addition of a special pocket for candy to your uniform.

Lorna, I'm emailing you our updated dietary-requirements/problems file. Including why sugar is good for Jubilee. *g*

Don't suppose I can just -add- cabbage to that even though its not really bad for me, it just kinda makes my stomach go fgihjoigdhoisjefjgsgrr and stink up the room?

Now I kinda want to hear your stomach do that. Although not so much with the stinking up the room. Cabbage smells funny enough as it is.

And dude, you've got more stomach-related wacky than practically the entire rest of the school. It's like Wacky Stomach is your . . . what, fourth mutant power, after the senses and the agility and the healing?

Senses, agility, healing. I guess stomach goes with the rest of the stuff like fangs and claws?

I dunno though. Cabbage ALWAYS made my stomach go fdsoihrigsljfsgljigrrrrr even as a little kid.

Maybe, but I think it deserves its own category. So that would be five? What'd you do, cut back in line when they were handing out the double helixes? :)

And I think that's probably one of two things. Either cabbage is just nasty (entirely possible!) or you had Wacky Stomach even when you were a kid, like
my parents are pretty sure now I had
wacky brain, which explains why treating
me for ADD never worked.

I think it comes in one big my mutation's all screwed up package. The stomach's because I can't digest a lot of processed stuff which is part of the physical stuff, which is part of the reason for the senses. I think.

I dunno, I kinda zoned on most of the explanation...

I think its that cabbage is nasty. I didn't have much of Wacky Stomach as a kid - I could eat chocolate until I got all fangy.

I don't think there's a mutation that isn't a whole screwed-up package. But yeah. Y'know, maybe the way to think about it is, when you eat stuff like cabbage and chocolate and stuff it's like trying to run the Blackbird on regular unleaded. You just need a more awesome fuel.

And I hear you on the zoning. I spent almost the whole afternoon after Doc MacTaggart explained about my ectoplasm thing trying to figure out if it meant I could slime people. (I can't.)

And that makes two votes for cabbage is nasty, so I think that's pretty much a done deal.

Well, chocolate's more like trying to run, like, a souped up sports car on diesel fuel, I think. Backfires and explosions in bad places.

Cabbage is just plain gross. Most vegetables are, except a couple of the ones that go in salad.

... I don't wanna know on the ectoplasm thing. Still stuck on the part where the art teacher turns into metal.

I need a lot of Vitamin C, iron, and stuff to boost my immune system. Barring that, to speed up time until I'm off these damn pills and can have caffeine again.

no sugar (my grandparents were both diabetic, but I tested okay a few weeks ago!) and for the next...5 weeks! no caffiene, or anything that could cause heartburn.

and no alcohol, but I don't drink anyways.

suuuugar! teleporting stuff seems to take a lot of energy (I keep energy bars and powerade in my suite). the fencing probably doesn't help the energy thing, but I always sleep like the dead!

Not so much with the stuff I can and can't eat, but after a Healing or other major spell, I tend to need to eat a lot. Manuel didn't start calling me the Bottomless Pit of Brighton for nothing...

We're working on Meggan's diet, with the 'new foods' experiments. Nothing she shouldn't eat eat, tho' she doesn't like milk and other dairy products that much. Lots of healthy stuff, and protein for her to build up her strength. I think she'll be like Jake with the shapshifting tho', needing to eat everything in sight...

I react extremely badly...

To a lot of things, but most of them are pharmaceutical, not culinary.

I'm still adjusting to the diet and trends of eating here. And spending a lot of time trying to burn off a lot of the weight I'm gaining.

Some days, I want to eat everything I can get my hands on. Others, nothing sustains me quite as well as a feeling.

Manuel
