Just a bunch of thoughts

It has honestly been two years since I last went to mass and since that was a mandatory baccalaureate mass, I don't think it really counts. Which makes the last time I went to mass really, hmm, three or four years ago for Confirmation.
My youth minister used to joke that confirmation was treated more like a time to leave the Church than to join it. I think it hurt him when fully half my confirmation class followed that tradition and never darkened the door of St. Raph's again. We were expected to go through the process; sticking around didn't really get as much hype.
So I'm not really sure why I asked Kurt to take me with him to church. It wasn't really a God thing, I don't think. And it's not like the liturgy is riveting television but...
They sold the house. Mom called yesterday about it. I think it surprised her that it sold that fast it being the former home of a mutant and all. They're moving into the condo for now. My room there is going to be Dad's office. I get the futon when I visit. There wasn't much conversation otherwise and I think she hung up when Dad came in the room.
"the world has hated them because they are not of the world." Seems things don't change whether you're a proto-christian or a mutant.
There's something about church that...
Whoa. I'll have to finish this later.
