To my dear dear beloved roomie: Gots a question for you. Find me, yeah? Oh and don't read what's below.

To those of you who took such delight in tormenting my dear dear beloved roomie over her very natural fear of the scary lizard thing: Dude, I want copies of those pictures.

We're putting together a theatrical slideshow presentation in chronological order. Alison Vs. The Evil Vegetarian Death Iguana Of Scary Vegetarian Death, life-sized and in full color. We just need to figure out a soundtrack. :)

You used vegetarian twice in that title.

What about that song from 2001?

[identity profile] x-crowdofone.livejournal.com 2004-04-21 05:51 pm (UTC)(link)
I know. Iguanas are only dangerous if you're a plant.

We've got a section of Leaping Iguana that's almost stop-motion, so yeah, that could work. Was thinking the theme from Jaws too.

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2004-04-21 05:52 pm (UTC)(link)
You need to follow it around and get "stalking" action shot for the Jaws music.

[identity profile] x-crowdofone.livejournal.com 2004-04-21 05:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Nah, it plays under the beginning titles, and the first few shots before she sees the iguana.

[identity profile] x-tarot.livejournal.com 2004-04-21 06:02 pm (UTC)(link)
We should use Darth Vader's music too.

[identity profile] x-crowdofone.livejournal.com 2004-04-21 06:03 pm (UTC)(link)
When the iguana is killing Eeyore?

[identity profile] x-tarot.livejournal.com 2004-04-21 06:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Ooh. Ooh! Do you have the music from when Darth Vader is choking that guy?

[identity profile] x-crowdofone.livejournal.com 2004-04-21 06:08 pm (UTC)(link)
I have the DVD, and a computer with a DVD drive, and a computer genius girlfriend. So if not now, then soon. :)

"You are in command now, Admiral Piglet."

What should we use for when the lizard gives Alison a hug?

It should be a love song. A song of true and pure love and ...

maybe not. We're so dead.

"Wind Beneath My Wings." Bette Midler. A scar on my brain, but absolutely perfect for the lovestruck lizard.

Celine Dion is worse. Promise me there is no Celine Dion.

:)

Good. I would have to do something horrible.

She is a nightmare. A plague.

Don't use that phrase! It is an evil phrase!

You know I've got 80's movies on the brain when my first response to that is "Humperdinck, Humperdinck, Humperdinck!"

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2004-04-21 06:14 pm (UTC)(link)
What about that song from the end of Legend? Loved by the Sun by Tangerine Dream. Now that would be a good choice/

[identity profile] x-crowdofone.livejournal.com 2004-04-21 06:14 pm (UTC)(link)
That could work too, but I think we've seen enough glitter for a while.

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2004-04-21 06:15 pm (UTC)(link)
When did I say anything about glitter?

[identity profile] x-crowdofone.livejournal.com 2004-04-21 06:18 pm (UTC)(link)
You mentioned Legend, which is famous for three things: Tim Curry in wildly topheavy prosthetic makeup, Tom Cruise in the role he doesn't talk about, and glitter.

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2004-04-21 06:20 pm (UTC)(link)
The first two I knew. That last I thought was more of a Labyrinth characteristic.

[identity profile] x-crowdofone.livejournal.com 2004-04-21 06:24 pm (UTC)(link)
It's both. Fantasy movies from the 80s could out-glitter Clarice.

[identity profile] x-polarisstar.livejournal.com 2004-04-21 06:26 pm (UTC)(link)
I think Jono would disagree.

Legend wasn't all that glittery. Just Una was.

[identity profile] x-crowdofone.livejournal.com 2004-04-21 06:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe so, but Una was really glittery. Made up for the rest of the movie.

I still wanna know how Tim Curry didn't fall over.
