I don't think I've seen that much food served since...well, I don't ever think I've seen that much food. Did it all get finished? Because anything left over can go to Second Harvest or a local food share organization.

Anyway, practicality aside. A stunning and marvelous job was done by the organizers. Thank you, Kitty, Jamie and Rogue for all your planning. I dub thee Event Coordinators Extraordinare. Also, Jamie? Nice to meet you in person...or persons as the case was.

Same goes for all the rest of you newbies. I know who you are now and you'll never be able to hide. Mwahahahahaha! Fear me!

Basically, everyone deserves applause for making yesterday great but I'm going to single out my roomie and Sam for special attentions. Thank you for the music and all the rest of that ABBA song.

Okay, running back down to the Quantum Leap marathon now. Weird show that. Oh boy.

Sorry about the scary first impressions. I was a bit hung strung that day and you happened to bear the brunt of the hyperactivity.

And...I never asked you this, but do you know "nothing but the taillights" by Clint Black? I've gotten it stuck in my head and have developed this odd fondness for it.
