If you return to San Diego, you leave me here with Dr. Voght, whose orders you will have disobeyed. I do not think she would be very pleased with me if I let you escape. And I hope that you would not wish that upon me, no matter how strongly you wish to get back there. So, stay, and you can help me count out supplies for the Blackbird's next trip. It will be thrilling.
